This reloads the model exactly as you opened it — every bake and edit will be lost. Layers and selections reset too.

Drag the four corner handles over the photographed material, then tune the trace.
Checked when a model loads and after every bake. A printable solid must have every edge shared by exactly two triangles.
| sealed ✓ | No holes, no faults — the mesh encloses a solid volume. Slicers will handle it happily. |
| N holes | Open edges: the surface has gaps or is a non-solid shell. Many slicers auto-repair small holes, but results vary. |
| broken faces | Edges shared by 3+ triangles: self-intersecting or fused geometry. Fix in your CAD tool before printing. |
Baking preserves mesh health: if your input is sealed, the baked output is too.

reskin3d measures your texture's actual feature size and warns when it's finer than a 0.4 mm nozzle or shallower than a layer height. Depth 0.4–0.8 mm is the sweet spot for grip textures on FDM.
